Oasis/Late Summer Sketch: Mark the passing of summer with botanical sketches of late summer flowers, seedheads, reeds, and grass, play with color using watercolor pencils. Dip in to the work of master botanical artists such as these, find your own artistic style as you begin to sketch and color the continuous beauty of the natural world around you. A 3-week online workshop where we’ll sketch & color from wherever we are in the world, and learn from the work of master botanical artists. Workshop for continuing-ed and older learners. Starts Friday, Sep 28.

Cosmos/Find Yourself in Lyric Poetry: Drawn to poetry all your life but don’t know who to read or how to enter the world of poetry yourself? Poets have sought to find themselves through language and music across the world for ages.

Find yourself through lyric poems of Self and Nature this fall in an 8-week online workshop (half a semester) where we’ll read the work of American, English, European, Asian, Indigenous poets across time in an Intro to Lyric Poetry course touching on the basics of rhythm, music, lineation, theme, soul in the creation of poetry. Starts Monday, Oct 1.
